Colour schemes for Spring weddings
So you’re planning a Spring wedding but can’t decide what colour scheme to choose for your big day…well here’s my top colour schemes for Spring weddings.
I love a colourful wedding so most of my favourite colour schemes focus on that - in Spring bringing colour into your flowers works so well as everyone wants to feel the joy of colour after months of Winter!
1. Purples, peaches and oranges
This is one of my favourite colour schemes for any time of year but it works particularly well in Spring - purple is such an under-used colour in wedding flowers as I think people have images of bright purple clashing flowers, but used properly it has a really modern and interesting feel.
2. Pastels with coral
Pastels are pretty at any time of year but Spring is just perfect for them - but bringing in a brighter coral tone helps to elevate them and create a bit more fun in your flower scheme.
3. Brights with plenty of green
Fresh green is so pretty in Spring when the leaves are still young and it pairs so well with lovely bright flowers for a natural feel.
4. All the pinks and white
I love a pink colour scheme with a combination of pastels, brights and darks with a little bit of white - it feels fresh and fun and yet considered and oh so pretty!
5. Classic white, blush pink and pale blue
If classic is more your thing then going for whites and blush with some pale blue adds a Spring dimension to a classic colour scheme and always works beautifully.
6. All the brights
Brights are really having a moment and Spring is the perfect time to embrace them - it means rain or shine, your wedding will have colour, brightness and fun - who wouldn’t want that on their big day?
7. Pastels with pops
Like pastels, like brights, can’t decide what you want? Then this is the colour scheme for you - not to pale, not too bright - just Goldilocks perfection :)
