All about candles…

Candles - there are really so many options - pillar candles, taper candles, floating candles, tea lights…!

Floating candles can make a beautiful feature at your wedding.

In my last blog I wrote about a company I was working with this year to recycle my flower waste into confetti - you can read about it here. This year I’m also working with another great company - The Recycled Candle Company to recycle my candle waste.

Candles can produce a lot of waste too!

After a wedding, I’m often left with lots of candle stubs or half used tea lights, which of course I can’t use again for another event, but now rather than going to waste, they will be being collected by the Recycled Candle Company, who melt them down and turn them into beautiful new candles.

It’s another great way that I am trying to recycle more and reduce my landfill waste as much as I can. I will also be collecting up candles from other florists in the area, to help others recycle their waste too!
